Cheapest, Easiest, Quickest Makeover in History

I've been working on a mini-major-master bathroom makeover. I call it a mini-major one because we're not really doing much, and spending VERY little, but at the same time, it's going to be a HUGE makeover in terms of aesthetics. It is a painfully ugly room - truly. Like, I'm talking it could win "The Ugliest Bathroom in America" contest. I can't wait to show you guys when I'm done - I'd say I'm over halfway there. I'll keep you on the edge of your seats for another couple weeks, probably;). I finished painting yesterday, now just off to the other smaller projects. We aren't doing any gutting of anything (although it desperately needs it), and working with just what we've got, but I'm thinking it's going to end up looking pretty darn good....

Today I'll show you a sneak peek: The Cabinet. We have one of those glass front cabinets that hang above our toilet. Now, I said this was a SUPER inexpensive makeover, so we're leaving the cabinet right where it is. But I did want to update it a little. I bought two sheets of scrapbook paper at Hobby Lobby - 50% off of 59 cents. How much cheaper can you get?!! And this is what it looks like now:
This is what it looked like before:
That actually looks pretty good compared to what it usually looks like! There's usually my ugly makeup case on the shelf (which was downstairs in the kitchen since I end up throwing mascara and blush on as I pour bowls of cereal and pop waffles in the toaster on busy school mornings!). And behind the glass cabinets looks wayyy neater than normal - there's usually things jammed up there like you wouldn't believe. I always make sure the toilet seat is down when I open it, because I may or may not have accidentally dropped things in the past...

So this project cost me less than a buck, some tape, and about 2 minutes of my time. And I think it's a pretty decent transformation. I mean, let's be honest here, you don't want to show your tampons and deoderant to the world anyway, am I right?
So if you've got a glass cabinet in your bathroom and want to hide your goods too, for less than a buck you can work wonders! Oh, and the scrapbook paper available is INSANE these days - talk about some seriously cute stuff! I went with a grey print, but there is SO much out there.

Alrighty, that's the sneak peek and the Cheapest, Easiest, Quickest Makeover in History for you. Can't wait to show you the whole bathroom when it's complete! Are you loving that grey like I am?!!!! Sherwin Williams Essential Grey in case you were wondering...Had no idea I was a grey person! I LOVE it!
