Girls Night In: Gettin' Our Craft On!

Friends. Wine. Yummy Food. Craftin'. Put them all together and you've got one good time! A couple of my crafty girlfriends recently suggested we get a group together and hang out, all the while making something cute and easy for our homes. I was LOVING the idea, to say the least! I mean, who doesn't need more girl time in their lives?! And take home a craft to boot? Sign me up!

A few emails back and forth, and a group formed - these gals were as jonesed as I was! And thanks to Pinterest, we all threw out several ideas - they were all pretty simple and inexpensive, and one seemed to be a popular fave: the cinnamon wreath. (source: my home ideas)
All we'd need was a 12 inch wooden wreath from Michaels, glue guns (and sticks), and of course, cinnamon. Now, those sticks can get pretty pricey, surprisingly, but one of the smart gals found an online place that was very reasonable, so I ordered a TON (literally a big ol' box stacked full of them!), and we we probably could have used more! Oh, and I had a bunch of burlap here, so we just cut strips of that for the ribbon. Pretty simple, so we got to just gab away while we were gluing away (and having some drinks and yummies too;)
hehehe...this one I shall label "Fray-tastrophe" :) We had a lot of laughs that night, and we're making it a monthly event! Don't think we'll have trouble finding a craft to do this time of year! I've pinned quite a few to throw out to the group - what would we ever do without Pinterest?! (I know, I've said that only about a hundred times, right?!)
We'll have 3 more lovely ladies in this bunch next month - I can't wait! Girls Night In rocks! :)

Very cute! And I bet it smells amazing in your home. Can you say where your friend found them at such a good deal for so many? I would love to get some for our girls craft nights.
