We each picked up our own letters - those $3.99 MDF black letters at Michaels, or the smaller white ones - whichever we wanted.
I decided to spray mine red, just in case you would see underneath the berries - in hindsight, this is not necessary. The others turned out looking exactly the same. We had an assortment of berries to choose from - some of us picked up garland, and just snipped and glued pieces of that onto the letter, and some of us picked up these canisters for $5.99 of loose ones:
Even after filling the entire letter, you're still left with a little less than half of this guy.
Then, that's pretty much it! Just plug in those glue guns and get to work!
Ta-da!
I love how they turned out! I decided to attach some ribbon I had to mine, and hang it over a mirror:
Maybe I'll add a sprig or two of greens to hang over the top, to make it even more festive;) Or these would look great sitting on a shelf too - lots of possibilities!
Some of my friends also bought extra letters, so they can make Christmas gifts for people - how special, how pretty, and how inexpensive, right?! Thanks so much to Adrienne at Our Unexpected Journey, for the awesome idea! By the way - it's a fabulous blog, suggest you check it out, you won't be sorry!
